The best and worst Mythic+ dungeons on Tyrannical, Raging, Volcanic week.
The mythic+ plus tier list this week is a blog post that ranks the best and worst mythic dungeons for each tier on Tyrannical, Raging, and Volcanic weeks.
Welcome to this week’s dungeons, where the affixes are Raging, Volcanic, Tyrannical, and Tormented!
This is a great collection of affixes for pressing keys. It’s certainly worse than last week across the board owing to Raging being a little more difficult and Tyrannical being a little slower, but there are still some great runs to be had this week, and most players can still improve on their runs. That is why, unlike last week, there are some S-Tier dungeons but none of the A-Tier dungeons. This affix set as a whole has low time losses, and these affixes are usually considered to be very simple to play. Although certain dungeons (Theatrical Pain and Depths of Sanguine) are disproportionately impacted by this collection of affixes as a whole, the week is still reasonably excellent for all dungeons.
Due to a few monsters in particular, an enrage dispel is practically required for Raging in certain dungeons.

Dungeons of the S-Tier
Wake of the Necrotic
The timeframe in Necrotic Wake is one of the most lenient of all the dungeons available. This implies that as long as you stick to a safe approach and kill the bosses, you’ll be OK. The best overall advise is to use a lot of Bloody Javelins against bosses. Because the bosses are the most challenging portion of the dungeon, it’s best to use the Javelins on them. In these dungeons, Discharged Anima and Anima Exhaust are both very strong AOE effects that should be utilized to blow up trash packs in between cooldowns.
This week’s affixes of Raging, Volcanic, and Tyrannical are far more challenging than previous week’s. This is mostly owing to the Necropolis’s Raging and Tyrannical’s boss encounters. The most controversial issues are usually the bosses. This dungeon is still rated S since it is mostly a strategy test, and because of the weapons and their usefulness, you may usually complete it 1-2 key levels higher than other dungeons. While the dungeon isn’t completely free this week due to the affixes, it isn’t much more difficult than it is on other weeks. You may also save a lot of time in the necropolis by using the Flesh Crafter’s cleaver when he is angry.
Points of Distress The bosses seem to be the main source of agony in Necrotic Wake from week to week. Make sure Amarth, Surgeon Stitchflesh, and Nalthor the Rimebinder have some sort of weaponry. The bosses in Necrotic Wake become a lot more lethal with the Tyrannical affix set, and the longer they survive, the more troublesome they become. It is critical for success to know how to deal with employers in a straightforward way.
Blightbone’s natural Kyrian Anima Exhaust ability should be enough to deal with this monster. Many individuals will choose to execute Blightbone with a Bloody Javelin and a trash pack or Tormented mob in the nearby area.
If you CC the adds that are still up during the Final Harvest for Amarth, the adds will not be eaten and you will be wiped. To prevent having to kill the adds, top groups will CC the mages with paralysis or Shackle Undead on every set, as described in this tip of the week. This does, however, require coordination. On Amarth, Bloody Javelin is usually used in conjunction with a Tormented mob.
Saving a Bloody Javelin is a popular tactic for Surgeon Stitchflesh, as is utilizing the Javelin on the first add + boss to ensure you don’t have multiple adds and have a chance to 1 phase the boss. If you miss the javelin on the first Kyrian Stitchwerk, you may have to use hammers or concentrate the stitchwork on the boss. Alternatively, strong CDs like Ashen Hallow + Bloodlust may be used, but it all relies on the group and the key level.
Finally, it is quite characteristic of Nalthor the Rimebinder to have Bloodlust yet not utilize it on Stitchflesh. You should also use Forgotten Forgehammer against Icebound Aegis shields if you have additional DPS from Dark Exile below. This will reduce the amount of damage your party takes as a group.
Due to Raging, your tank will need to actively kite in the necropolis while dealing with the garbage in the dungeon. If you have an anger dispel, calm the Kyrian Stitchwerk first, since they may rapidly kill your tank if agitated.
This week’s tip is to use the Flesh Crafter’s Throw Cleaver against the mini boss in Necrotic Wake’s first section. This saves a lot of time and improves your chances of surviving. This is amplified by Raging, resulting in massive damage.
Guide to a Necrotic Wake
Plaguefall
Plaguefall’s timing is still quite easy on this week’s affixes, which comes as no surprise to anybody. With that said, there are a few pulls in particular on Raging that are very irritating. If you’re not cautious, tank damage may be very lethal. Furthermore, owing to Tyrannical, monsters become much more deadly at lower levels, but if you have a good plan and cooldown setup, you should be able to deal with these enemies with ease. This is why Plaguefall is this week’s S-Tier dungeon.
Points of Distress While Plaguefall’s timing is simple, completing the dungeon is by far the most difficult portion. Many trash pulls do significant damage to your tank, and many of these monsters are clustered together. This is especially hazardous after Globgrog, so keep an eye out for Raging monsters and attempt to use AOE CC anytime they start to go low. Furthermore, the bosses are not to be taken lightly. If you’re feeling really strong, you may also utilize the Pestilence Slime haste puddle to quickly dispatch Globgrog, Doctor Ickus, and Margrave Stradama. Some groups have performed this feat in the video below. Finally, assuming you can survive through the whole dungeon, you should be able to hold W and time the key with ease.

Atonement Halls are places where people go to make amends for their sins.
Halls of Atonement may be challenging if you’re not in a well-coordinated party, but the limitless pull size potential here helps to compensate for any timing issues you might have. Halls is a dungeon where your tank can take your party a long way, but there’s still a good possibility you’ll die owing to the amount of tank damage that may occur, particularly on Raging. On a lot of garbage pulls, your tanks’ kiting, group kicks, and group CC must be well prepared. The quantity of damage obtained by Raging on Stoneborns is the reason this dungeon is eventually rated S.
When mind influenced, Loyal Stoneborns may be affected by Raging and can deal much greater damage when angry.
Points of Distress I would not recommend entering this dungeon without an enrage dispel.
This week’s main issue in Halls of Atonement is balancing pull size vs tank survivability and mob management. Halls is a dungeon where your tank is crucial to your group’s success, and the rest of your party must rally behind them. On Depraved Obliterator, get as many kicks as you can. Start kiting on the Vicious Gargon as soon as possible, stacking them up as much as possible using displacement effects. The Shard of Halkias is the most important reason why an enrage dispel is strongly recommended. Even if you can see their thrashes, you still need an anger dispel. If you can complete all of these tasks, you should be OK with this key. You may even play the Oros Coldheart debuff with Lord Chamberlain to save a lot of time. It’s not tough, and it’s a simple method to save 2:00. Because this dungeon is Tyrannical, making sure you aggressively remove garbage is critical if you want to pick up some extra time.
You can play 3 of the Loyal Stoneborn with Halkias pretty simply, which is a useful tip. The boss will perish extremely fast as a result of this. This may be done with x2 Venthyr players pressing their control at the same time, or with a single player that has either Power Infusion or Bloodlust. In any case, having three Stoneborns for this fight is a huge plus.

Dungeons of the A-Tier
Mists of Tirna Scithe
This week’s dungeon, Mists of Tirna Scithe, is a dungeon where you can save a lot of time compared to previous weeks. This is owing to the fact that you can realistically combine nearly all of the garbage packs in the labyrinth. This enables you to emerge from the labyrinth with MDI levels of garbage count of up to 72 percent! This is due to the fact that Raging, Volcanic, and Tyrannical are all so minimally invasive that you can save a ridiculous amount of time with them. Because of the complexity of the first fight and the accuracy required while dragging maze garbage through the wall, this dungeon is rated A rather than S. However, it’s quite close to becoming an S-Tier dungeon.
The Aster MDI team utilized several unique methods to break through barriers in Mists of Tirna Scithe that did not need the usage of a hunter pet and just required the utilization of cracks in the walls. I can’t locate a VOD since they’re on Douyu, but once it’s more well known how to pull through barriers this method, I’ll go into more detail about it. All I know is that it includes being a Dwarf or owning a Gnome toy.
Points of Distress The most difficult aspects of this dungeon are eliminating Ingra Maloch quickly enough so that you don’t waste too much time, and avoiding merging unsuitable groups together. Both Mistveil Shaper and Mistveil Tender have casts that must be broken up and dealt with. Mistveil Stalker are dangerous monsters, and if you draw two at once, you’ll die fast. I would strongly suggest not removing several of them at the same time. Furthermore, since it is Raging, be wary of all of those crowds. In this dungeon, Volcanic Plume is also extremely powerful, and taking two or three of them is really great.
Using a pet to drag the 3rd Tormented mob over the wall before fighting Ingra Maloch is another huge thing you can do to assist yourself. Simply use a Pet Attack through the wall on the tortured mob, bring the pet back, and this will happen. If you’re near to the wall, have the mini boss targeted, and are currently in battle, you may use Force of Nature. This gives you an extra power for Ingra, which is very useful. It’s critical to save Bloodlust, offensive cooldowns, and everything else you can for the burn. On this timing, saving phases on Ingra may save you minutes of time. You can also learn about how to use mists to lure other monsters through the barriers here! This is a must-read if you want to learn how to save a ton of time this week.

The Ascension Spires
The timeframe in Spires of Ascension is extremely forgiving this week if you tackle the dungeon at a leisurely pace. In this key, fury is especially severe in terms of tank damage, possible wipes, and the fact that Klotos practically necessitates an enrage dispel.
Points of Distress I would not recommend entering this dungeon without an enrage dispel.
This week, the two most important problems you’ll encounter inside the Spires of Ascension are execution and survival. The timeframe will be somewhat unrestricted, but the issues in this dungeon will revolve on survival and the ability to minimize fatalities while obtaining your interrupts. Furthermore, since the bosses are Tyrannical, they may survive a long time, thus having adequate single target damage is critical.
Some of the most important moments in this dungeon include living while engaged in the Klotos angel pull, Ventunax, and Forsworn Usurper. Because of Raging, angels and Usurpers have a harder time. You must use a CC on the Userpers anytime they get enraged, and a dispel on Klotos once he becomes enraged. Play mechanically strong for Ventunax and you’ll be good.

Dungeons of the Second Tier
The Opposite
De Other Side is a dungeon where your ability to draw the Ardenweald wing is crucial. With Raging, Volcanic, and Tyrannical as affixes, you should be able to get the largest pulls imaginable on De Other Side this week. All things considered, this is a good week for De Other Side, but you must be cautious of trash and tank fatalities versus numerous creatures in these dungeons.
Points of Distress The greatest pain point in De Other Side this week is living and actively tugging the Ardenweald wing. The bosses are obnoxious and may create problems. If you’re playing a fundamentally sound World of Warcraft, you should be OK with bosses. Finally, if you can pull Ardenweald aggressively, not die, and defeat the monsters, you should be extremely strong in De Other Side. In the Ardenweald region, be wary of Raging and make sure your tank is kiting the birds.
I’ve also included a video of some interesting technology on Dealer Xy’exa that you may use in your own runs :). (With the bomb, he just leaps.)
If you’re reading this and intend to travel around the ring collecting all anima abilities before entering a particular wing, please stop right now. From the start, turn left and go straight towards the Ardenweald region. This will give you two anima abilities and severely restrict your retracing.
The Guide from the Other Side
Dungeons of the C-Tier
Sanguine Depths
Sanguine Depths is a dungeon that is very forgiving in terms of time, but the monsters are the most difficult to deal with. Because to the Sinfall Boon lantern boost, Sanguine is also a highly momentum-based dungeon, where errors and fatalities may be quite expensive. Due to the quantity of group damage combined with Raging, the probability of fatalities, and the fact that it is Tyrannical, the dungeon is not too easy this week. If you have the ability to survive, this is a dungeon that can be completed at very high levels. Due to the difficulties of garbage on Raging and the aggravation of the bosses with Tyrannical, I ultimately put this dungeon in C rather than B.
Points of Distress The bosses of Sanguine Depths are the most difficult to defeat. Having Bloodlust for the majority of the bosses will give you the greatest results. In Sanguine Depths, you’re likely to be given a complete wipe to trash in any spare time you have. You don’t have the same luxury as employers when it comes to wiping them out. The most essential thing about Sanguine Depths is to make sure you have strong tactics for all four bosses.
- Kryxis the Voracious – You’ll be OK if you put the Severing Smash orbs in a solid place and absorb the Juggernaut Rush.
- Executor Tarvold – Make sure you have all of your offensive cooldowns and that you swiftly concentrate down any additions. It’s also extremely useful to have the Sinfall Boon lantern bonus.
- Grand Proctor Beryllia – Soak 3 – 4 stacks of orbs each time, then utilize powerful personals. It’s a popular tactic to rotate immunity and enable other players to absorb four stacks of orbs if you’re performing a high enough key rotation.
In Sanguine Depths, the Research Scribe are likewise archer-style monsters that may be extremely deadly when Raging. Keep an eye out for them.
Guide to Sanguine Depths
Theater of Pain
This week isn’t going to be great for Theater of Pain. While Volcanic is a free enrage dispel, Raging is required for this dungeon, and Tyrannical is not recommended in a five-boss instance. Theater of Pain is rated as low as it is on this week’s affixes because of this.
Points of Distress I would not recommend entering this dungeon without an enrage dispel.
The main annoyances in this key are the group’s ambient damage and boss killing in general. Many monsters, such as the Portal Guardian, Shambling Arbalest, Rancid Gasbag, and Xav wing commanders, deal a lot of group and tank damage, necessitating the use of obligatory anger dispels. Furthermore, if not properly handled with, these mobs may be very dangerous.
It’s just a matter of damage vs. key level when it comes to defeating the monster. Theater of Pain is far more difficult in a Tyrannical environment than in a Fortified one since a couple of the bosses require an inordinate amount of time owing to the methods you must deal with them.
