Blizzard is updating the Legion Timewalking dungeons with new affixes, loot and a new mage tower. The Mage Tower will help players get to level 100 in a quick fashion, while also providing an opportunity for gear upgrades.
The timewalking vendor 2020 is a new feature that will be released in the next patch. It allows players to get items from the Timewalking vendors that will only be available during specific timewalks.
Blizzard
One thing to keep in mind regarding Timeworn Keystones is that, unlike normal Timewalking dungeons, you are not scaled down to the dungeon; rather, the dungeon is scaled up to you. The difficulty and rewards should be similar to the current expansion Mythic+, with the aim of expanding your Mythic+ choices during the weeks when Timeworn Keystones are available.
It’s easy to see how allowing previous expansion systems to operate in Mythic+ would put players who haven’t completed those expansions at a considerable disadvantage. If you’re playing Mythic+, you should be able to perform Timeworn Keystones without having to jump through any extra hoops.
Regular Timewalking dungeons (including the newly introduced Legion dungeons) are unaffected by the problem patch, and should continue to operate as they have in the past.

- The Infernal affix will be updated in our upcoming PTR build. We’ve made some adjustments in response to your comments, and we’d love to hear what you think.
- We’re taking a careful look at things from Legion dungeons to make sure they’re balanced properly at current item levels, and making any required changes.
- On the PTR, Mage Tower is very close to being ready for testing.
