Blizzard is updating the Innuendo references in World of Warcraft. The company has not commented on what will be done with the male Incubus Demon model, but it is speculated that a redesign may be in the works.
The wow succubus quotes is a blog entry from the World of Warcraft website. Blizzard has said that they are planning to change the model of the male incubus demon in order to make it more appealing for players.

Over the past several weeks, artists and writers from throughout the WoW team have updated a limited number of old quests, visual assets, titles, and dialogue that we recognized as obsolete and incompatible with our collective ideals. These changes are a tiny element of a larger, company-wide effort to enhance the WoW team and Blizzard in general, but they are significant to us as developers.
We established up internal channels in early August for the WoW team to give input on material that didn’t reflect who we are as a team today. We also received a lot of input from players on virtually every element of the game during this period. Many of the gameplay changes we’re working on for patch 9.1.5 were inspired by player input, and our internal feedback highlighted some in-game material that doesn’t align with our objective of creating an inclusive and inviting game environment.
We realize that these improvements will amount to relatively few overall modifications in a game with thousands of graphic components and millions of words. Nonetheless, we think these modifications are beneficial. World of Warcraft is designed to develop over time, and new players from all walks of life and all corners of the globe join us every day to experience our in-game material for the first time. As a group, we want the world kids see to be a reflection of our skills and values.
Goofy jokes and adult innuendos are, and will probably always be, a part of WoW. Nonetheless, we must consider if some aspects of that environment are inviting to all participants. In other words, we want our jokes to be inclusive rather than dismissive.
When deciding whether or not to change material, there are times when circumstances arise that make our choice even more difficult. Some of the imagery that adorns our planet, for example, is often reused throughout the game. To ensure that this work does not appear in an unrespectful manner, we may choose to change certain parts completely in some circumstances. It’s essential to us that Azeroth is the greatest place it can be for everyone, and we’ll keep working to enhance our decision-making procedures in this area.
We also don’t want to alter current player appearances or cosmetics since we want gamers to be able to express themselves via their avatars. Instead, we want to make certain that gamers have a variety of ways to express themselves. This work is continuing, as are our efforts to provide new material and services. You’ll see more of it in 9.1.5 and subsequent patches, as well as, when appropriate, in WoW Classic. The development of an incubus demon, which we may add to locations where succubus models presently exist, is an example of a post-9.1.5 enhancement. We’re also considering making the incubus a glyphable option for Warlocks summoning that kind of demon.
We’ll continue to debate, analyze, and act on this kind of input as WoW evolves and grows. We appreciate your feedback as usual, and we hope you continue to provide it.
