Act I
The Den of Evil is the first quest.
Levels 1-3 are suggested.
The majority of this quest is self-explanatory. You must eliminate all of the monsters inside the cave. This mission, like others in Act I, is technically optional, but the payoff is well worth the effort.
You’ll face Fallen, Fallen Shaman, Gargantuan Beasts, and Zombies within the cave. The Fallen Shaman should be your first goal since they will revive any Fallen you kill. It will be much simpler to remove the hordes if you can take them out fast. Due to their relatively large health pool, the Gargantuan Beasts may potentially pose some issues. If at all feasible, approach them in a one-on-one fighting situation.
The location’s boss is a zombie called Corpsefire. The easiest method to deal with him is to kill the other zombies with him, then take him out when he’s alone. Make sure you have lots of healing potions in case he deals a lot of damage out of nowhere.
You’ll hear music and watch brilliant lights beam down on the cave after all of the monsters have been defeated. Return to the Rogue Encampment and speak with Akara using a Scroll of Town Portal (TP). She’ll give you a free skill point and reset your stats and skills for you. This can only be done once each difficulty, so make the most of it. We’d also suggest picking up a Tome of Town Portal from Akara at this time. This will allow you to stack TPs more readily, reducing the amount of space they take up in your inventory. Pick up a belt now if you didn’t find one in the Den of Evil. You’ll be able to survive longer since you’ll have more potions on hand.
Act II
Part 1 of Quest 2: The Horadric Staff
17-20 is the recommended level.
Prepare yourself for a long journey. This quest requires you to locate three distinct objects in various locations throughout the world. First and foremost, you must go outside Lut Gholein’s walls into the Rocky Waste. Saber Cats, Spear Cats, Undead Scavengers, and Cave Leapers may all be found here. Unless you allow yourself to be overwhelmed by numbers, they won’t be much of a problem for you. Scavengers, on the other hand, may fly for a brief period of time while remaining invulnerable, while Leapers can be difficult to strike since they often leap over your character and dart across the screen.
Having saying that, you should have no trouble getting to the Dry Hills via this region. Stick to the map’s borders until you discover a way through the rocks that leads to the next destination. You’ll face the same opponents as before, as well as Scarab Demons. When hit, they work similarly to Rakinshu from Act 1 in that they fire lightning. Increase your resistances once more to ensure your survival.
While exploring the region, keep an eye out for the area’s Waypoint as well as the entrance to the Halls of the Dead. It’s important looking find the Waypoint before entering the dungeon since it may drastically reduce your running around time. You’ll meet a few new creatures within the dungeon. The Sarcophagi is one of them, and it produces Decayed mummies. You’ll want to get them out as soon as possible so the mummies don’t overwhelm you. Also, keep an eye out for poison that the mummies leave behind when they die.
Hollow Ones will also be encountered. These tougher mummies resemble Radament in appearance and function. They have the power to revive skeletons, spew forth a poison cloud, and shoot at you from distance with an ability called Unholy Bolt. Hollow Ones and their minions, like many adversaries, may be overwhelming. When they arrive, play cautiously, and don’t be hesitant to utilize a tactical retreat if they begin to overwhelm you.
When you reach the dungeon’s third level, you’ll encounter a mini-boss Saber Cat called Bloodwitch the Wild. She is very fast and only utilizes melee strikes. If she and her horde become too many for you, retreat behind a doorway and utilize it as a chokepoint to thin them out. Open the chest to get the Horadric Cube after she’s been dealt with. This is a crucial item that expands your inventory and allows you to convert things using Horadric Cube recipes.
Act IV
Quest 3: The End of Terrorism
30-32 is the recommended level.
Use the River of Flame Waypoint to advance if you already have it. Otherwise, continue north along the River of Flame until you reach the Chaos Sanctuary. Diablo’s home is designed like a cross, with three wings to the north, east, and west that you must battle through. You must engage with one or two seals in each of these wings. However, some of those seals may unleash a mini-boss and his minions, so be cautious. To summon Diablo, you must click on all five seals and defeat the three mini-bosses, so get started now.
Each of the three mini-bosses has its unique set of challenges, with the Grand Vizier of Chaos being the weakest. The Infector of Souls is usually the most difficult of the three since attaining his seal puts you in a chokehold. Then you’re assaulted by demons who are extremely quick and can cast Inferno. You may soon perish from their assaults if you are unable to utilize your mobility to your advantage. Lord de Seis is also very nasty since he typically spawns with the Fanaticism aura, which boosts the group’s damage as well as Seis’ attack speed and rating. They’re considerably slower than The Infector of Souls’ gang, so you can get away if you need to.
They’re all insignificant in compared to Diablo. On regular level, you should be wary of the Red Lightning Hose, as he has a variety of powers that may swiftly knock you down. Fire and lightning resistance may help reduce some of this damage, so be sure to boost those attributes before taking him on. Diablo, thankfully, provides a warning for this assault. He’ll lift both hands in the air just before casting it, allowing you a single second to rush past him and duck out of the path.
One important piece of advise is to place a Town Portal in one of the three wings where seals may be found. Because Diablo seldom visits these places, you may utilize them with reasonable safety. Make extensive use of this, since you’ll most likely need to return to town to replenish potions many times. If you attempt to drop a TP in Diablo’s inner sanctum, he’ll put it in a bone jail and assault you freely for a few seconds. You may perish soon since you won’t be able to recover at that period. Simply increase your resistances, get as much blocking as possible, and choose your fights carefully. You’ll eventually defeat him.
Take your stuff and return to town after Diablo is done. You may go through the portal to Harrogath and Act V after conversing with Deckard Cain and Tyrael.
