GENERAL
-
For high-traffic times, we’ve created a Login Queue. When you first start the game, this queue will appear after the title screen. The queue will only show during periods of heavy traffic.
-
Players will be given a number indicating their position in line.
-
By pressing “Escape” on the queue prompt, players will be able to leave the waiting and begin playing offline right away.
-
It’s important to remember that the higher your queue number displays, the slower the number on the prompt will update. Because the number is continually updating in the background, we do not suggest abandoning the line because this may cause further delays in joining the game during these peak times.
In the next week, a patch will be released that will provide the same queue feature to consoles.
This is in response to our article from yesterday on how we intend to address some of the login problems players have been having during high-traffic periods. More of that post may be found here.
