This testing timetable is variable and responsive to the reality of a test environment, as it always is. Due to problems, server hardware concerns, or other factors, we may need to adjust the schedule of a testing session, change the bosses being tested, or cancel the test completely. Please keep an eye on this topic for the most up-to-date information, and we appreciate you taking the time to test and provide comments.
Q: What is the best way to enter into the raid zone?
A: Speak to Nexus-Lord Donjon Rade IV in Oribos, Dalaran, Orgrimmar, or Stormwind to teleport into the raid zone when it is available for testing. (When a zone is not accessible for testing, the ability to teleport into it is unavailable.)
Q: Which character should I test the raid with?
A: It’s all up to you. For raid testing, players’ effective levels will be scaled to 60, and their item levels will be adjusted to a suitable level for the encounter(s) being tested.
Q: What is the duration of the testing?
A: The main goal of testing is to provide us with the data we need to balance encounters, assess how mechanics work in reality, and find flaws. We’ll stop testing whenever we’re satisfied that we’ve acquired that information for a certain boss. This usually takes 45 minutes to two hours, but there are no promises.
We appreciate you taking the time to test our material, and we eagerly await your comments.
