How Phase 1 Gear Will Be Different In Season of Mastery

Last updated November 17, 2021 | Follow us on Pinterest

Equipment that was exclusive for the first phase of Season of Mastery will be available to everyone once Phase 2 launches. Here are some details about how gear will change in this season.

Phase 1 gear will be different in Season of Mastery. The new Phase 1 gear will have a chance to drop from any boss in the game.

Blizzard explains modifications to Set 2 of the Dungeon, Dire Maul, PvP, and other changes in the most recent Design Intentions Blue Post. Many of these changes will have a significant influence on Season of Mastery, particularly Pre-Raid and Phase 1 BiS. On November 16, 2021, Season of Mastery will begin.

Dungeon Set 2

The choice to make the Dungeon Set 2 (AKA “tier 0.5”) questlines accessible at launch is one of the more remarkable aspects of our content stages.

The availability of Dungeon Set 2 at launch is a huge shift for practically every class. While rogues will notice the greatest improvement in strength from gear and will most likely keep the set for a long time, the equipment dropped by the summoned enemies in the Dungeon Set 2 quest chain will drastically alter many classes’ Best in Slot rankings.

Items from the fifth phase

The changes to dungeon prizes introduced in patch 1.10 will be in effect when Season of Mastery launches. This affects the availability of Idols, Librams, and Totems, as well as the drop locations and rates of specific items like the Hand of Justice in Blackrock Depths.

When compared to typical phase 1 loot, several of the items accessible exclusively in Phase 5 content from the Dungeon Set 2 quest chain, Cannon Master Willey, Lord Roccor, Warchief Rend Blackhand, and other monsters that get revised loot tables after launch are highly strong. These items are substantially better than certain Molten Core pieces in various classes.

Many classes, including Warlocks and Shadow Priests, must wait until Phase 4 and the Bloodvine Vest set to increase their Spell Hit Rating. Many great Spell Hit items will become accessible with the introduction of Dungeon Set 2 in Phase 1, making it much simpler for spellcasters.

Dire Maul

At the start of Season of Mastery, Dire Maul will be accessible.

Many excellent goods, such as the Tarnished Elven Ring, Mugger’s Belt, Satyr’s Bow, Boots of the Full Moon, Brightly Glowing Stone, and Padre’s Trousers, will be available when Dire Maul launches in Phase 1. However, one thing to keep in mind is the availability of Dire Maul trinkets. Many of them may seem unimportant to certain classes, but they all provide +10 Fire Resistance, which is very useful in Molten Core and Onyxia’s Lair.

Honor System in PvP

We raised the pace at which players level up in the PvP Honor System after careful deliberation.

The PvP Honor System is now in Phase 1 and has received a boost that reduces the time it takes to rank. Because of the influence it has on many classes, Rank 14 gear will be significantly more valuable early on as a result of these adjustments. There will be around 8 weeks of Molten Core before Blackwing Lair starts in Season of Mastery, which means that some committed PvP players will most certainly reach Rank 14 before Phase 3.

Reputation Boosters

At the start of Season of Mastery, the changes and enhancements made to reputation sellers and item drops in versions 1.6 through 1.11 will be in effect.

Blizzard also said that Reputation Gear would be accessible in Phase 1, implying that reputations in the PvP Battleground will be available as well. This is particularly true when it comes to the Warsong Gulch Reputation leggings, which may be obtained after becoming Exalted. These are really effective leggings for particular courses. To give you an idea of how strong these items are, they were introduced with Naxxramas in Vanilla Patch 1.11.

The “hunter bis classic” is a new item that will be introduced in the “Phase 1 Gear.” The gear will be different than what has been available previously.
