Level 60 Heirloom Upgrades Price Change for 9.1.5 – Prices Reduced 60% from PTR

Last updated November 15, 2021 | Follow us on Pinterest

This week’s Game Update 9.1.5 update brings a host of improvements, with the most talked-about change being the introduction of heirloom upgrades for all World Quests in Azeroth! However, it appears that not everyone was content with this new development and so they’ve taken matters into their own hands by altering prices on these items via third party sites like wowhead or WowAuction.

The latest PTR patch introduced a new feature called heirloom upgrades that allows players to choose an item and then upgrade it with the power of legendary rings. The price was set at 100,000 gold for level 60 characters but has been reduced on live servers to 3,000! More than half off is great news for any character who’s ever strived towards legendary status. The “Level 60 Heirloom Upgrades Price Change for 9.1.5 – Prices Reduced 60% from PTR” is a change that has been made to the level 60 heirlooms in World of Warcraft: Legion. The prices have been reduced by 60%. Read more in detail here: 9.1 5 ptr.

Even at a 60% discount, heirlooms aren’t worth buying in after they were nerfed into the ground.

They should also cut the cost of heirloom upgrades from 1 to 50 levels by around 75%, since heirlooms are no longer worth spending gold on due to lackster benefits and a bad stat budget.

Furthermore, 50-60 level improvements are still much too costly to justify a price tag.

That’s a lot closer to where it should have been all along. So, I suppose you did an excellent job updating it one day before the deadline.

Even without the exp, they’re still much too expensive since they serve no use.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who has stopped caring about heirlooms after they were nerfed and the EXP benefit was lowered. But I’m curious… does anybody know?

It’s usually worth it since they scale up and can be enchanted to help leveling go faster. However, I agree that the removal of the xp boost rendered Heirlooms obsolete.

There is no XP benefit, thus it isn’t worth it.

I’m not sure whether purchasing with timewalking badges is still the preferable option.

You mean these heirlooms in which people have spent a lot of time and money over the years, which Blizz might easily devalue at any point? Thank you, but no thanks.

Upgrades for heirlooms should be limited to one upgrade to take them from level 50 to level 60. However, the starting point should be 50.

Why would anybody care about heirlooms these days? They should be deleted from the game since they are useless.

If the upgrades to 60 were free, I’d probably equip them on all of my alts. But paying tens of thousands of dollars in gold? Please.

To be honest, leveling an alt to 50 with chrome time isn’t that awful. We need a greater array of activities to engage in when leveling. There are several, and Chrome Time was a nice addition, but it moved from a bad experience to a better one, but I wouldn’t call it great. When compared to leveling alt occupations in FF, which isn’t great in and of itself, it falls short.

Timewalking, in my opinion, is crucial, but they’ll need to go even farther with it and go beyond the notion that it’s a non-constant in the game.

Why not simply do a complete makeover and raise the basic heirloom to level 60?

Thanks, but you’re still not required. Even for 100g, it’s not necessary. It’s virtually worthless without the exp boost.

I just wanted to note that I will be purchasing them to offset the whining manchildren that moan in every WoWhead thread.

The “t20 recolors” is a new skin for the level 60 Heirloom. The price of this skin has been reduced by 60% from the PTR.
