Official Blizzard Preview of Mage Tower and Legion Timewalking in Patch 9.1.5

Last updated November 11, 2021 | Follow us on Pinterest

Blizzard released a new preview of the upcoming Mage Tower and Legion Timewalking in Patch 9.1.5, with some special surprises for players who participate in both events!

The Mage Tower Time-Walking event will be available in patch 9.1.5, which is coming March 22nd! This preview of the upcoming content includes details on what you can expect to find inside, including two new bosses and a series of quests that lead up to an epic conclusion at The Battle for Broken Shore!.

The Mage Tower was originally featured in Legion, and it required players to complete unique solo class-specific encounters. Legion Timewalking reintroduces the thrill of obtaining brand-new prizes and proving your persistence. Are you an expert in your field? It’s time to put your skills and knowledge to the test once again!

How to Get into the Mage Tower

You may travel to the Broken Isles and reach the Broken Shore from Dalaran while the Legion Timewalking event is running. You’ll be able to enter the tower at Deliverance Point and take part in a challenge that will put your abilities to the test. There are seven encounters to choose from, with your specialty determining which one you’ll face. The difficulties are as follows:

A Difficult Enemy

Defeat Agatha, the Imp Mother, in her lair, an impossible foe. Elemental Shaman, Feral Druids, Fire Mages, Fury Warriors, Outlaw Rogues, and Unholy Death Knights may participate in this challenge.

Keeping the Eye Closed

Defeat Archmage Xylem at the Eye of Eternity to close the eye. Arms Warriors, Frost Death Knights, Havoc Demon Hunters, Subtlety Rogues, and Survival Hunters may participate in this challenge.

The Risen Threat Has Come to an End

Defeat Lord Erdris Thorn in BlackRook Hold to put an end to the Risen Threat. Holy Paladins, Holy Priests, Mistweaver Monks, Restoration Druids, and Restoration Shaman may take on this challenge.

The Fall of Feltotem

Feltotem’s Fall: In Highmountain, defeat Tugar Bloodtotem. Beast Mastery Hunters, Destruction Warlocks, Discipline Priests, and Windwalker Monks may participate in this challenge.

Fury of the God Queen

Defeat Sygrin in the Halls of Valor with the God-Fury. Queen’s Arcane Mages, Assassination Rogues, Demonology Warlocks, Enhancement Shaman, and Retribution Paladins may take on this challenge.

The Return of the Highlord

The Highlord’s Return: In the Twisting Nether, defeat Highlord Kruul. Blood Death Knights, Brewmaster Monks, Guardian Druids, Protection Paladins, Protection Warriors, and Vengeance Demon Hunters may take on this challenge.

Stopping the Twins

Thwarting the Twins: In the Twisting Nether, defeat the twins Raest and Karam Magespear. Affliction Warlocks, Balance Druids, Frost Mages, Marksmanship Hunters, and Shadow Priests may participate in this challenge. When taking on these challenges, keep in mind that you won’t be able to use Legendary goods or any other expansion-specific bonuses like Covenant abilities, so prepare appropriately!

Rewards from the Mage Tower

If you complete one of the seven tasks with any class, you’ll be rewarded with a Legion-themed transmogrification set as well as the achievement “A Towering Success.” Druid Fel Werebear Form, inspired by the original Mage Tower award, may be earned by Guardian Druids.
