Reopening the Mage Tower with Legion Timewalking in 9.1.5 – Fel Werebear

Last updated September 16, 2021 | Follow us on Pinterest

Legion Timewalking is a new seasonal event that will take place in the Broken Isles. It will be available for players who have completed at least one level 110 character on each of their characters, and it will feature new quests, dungeons, and rewards.

Legion Timewalking is a new feature that has been introduced in World of Warcraft 9.1.5. The Fel Werebear is an NPC who will open the Mage Tower for players during this time period.

The Alliance and Horde started utilizing the Mage Tower at Deliverance Point for high-end training of their most promising champions soon after the Burning Legion invaded Azeroth at the Broken Shore. The Mage Tower was closed when Sargeras was vanquished and delivered his last furious strike to Azeroth, and it has been unreachable ever since. Legion Timewalking will be accessible for the first time in patch 9.1.5, and with it will come a wonderful opportunity to revisit previous heroic deeds. The champions of Azeroth will be allowed to enter the Mage Tower once again. Basics of the Mage Tower The Mage Tower will function similarly to how it did during Legion Timewalking. For the length of Legion Timewalking, the initial seven distinct Challenges (grouped by your specialization’s function) will be available to attempt again and again:

  • Frost Death Knight, Havoc Demon Hunter, Survival Hunter, Subtlety Rogue, and Arms Warrior “Closing the Eye”
  • Unholy Death Knight, Feral Druid, Fire Mage, Outlaw Rogue, Elemental Shaman, and Fury Warrior get “An Impossible Foe.”
  • Arcane Mage, Retribution Paladin, Assassination Rogue, Enhancement Shaman, and Demonology Warlock get “The God-Fury.” Queen’s
  • Beast Mastery Hunter, Windwalker Monk, Discipline Priest, and Destruction Warlock may all use “Feltotem’s Fall.”
  • Blood Death Knight, Vengeance Demon Hunter, Guardian Druid, Brewmaster Monk, Protection Paladin, and Protection Warrior get “The Highlord’s Return.”
  • Restoration Druid, Mistweaver Monk, Holy Paladin, Holy Priest, and Restoration Shaman get “End of the Risen Threat.”
  • Balance Druid, Marksmanship Hunter, Frost Mage Shadow Priest, and Affliction Warlock “Thwarting the Twins”

Each Challenge consists of a series of single encounters that must be completed in order to receive prizes, and they will not need you to posses an Artifact or even have played Legion before. We’re tuning the encounters in Timewalking to normalize player power, with the goal of providing a meaningful level of difficulty to current players. While the Challenges were considered quite difficult for most of Legion, we’re tuning them to provide a meaningful level of difficulty to current players. New Benefits Although the Timewalking Mage Tower Challenges will be similar to those seen in Legion, the prizes will be different. When the Mage Tower shut down at the conclusion of Legion, it was clear that those prizes would be lost forever. Before the tower closed, several gamers pushed themselves to gather as many appearances as possible. Because reintroducing the same appearances today would devalue those players’ achievements, completing a Mage Tower challenge now grants your class a Legion-themed armor set. In 9.1.5, a new Achievement will be available for the Kirin Tor’s most well-rounded champions. Players who accomplish all seven Challenges on various characters throughout their Battle.net account will get the Soaring Spelltome, a unique flying mount! Another Unique Feature The Mage Tower granted most specs a new weapon look during Legion, but players who didn’t get one may still acquire a plethora of other impressive weapon transmogs throughout the game. The Mage Tower reward, however, was an alternative bear form with a distinct look and motions for Guardian druids. There is nothing else in the game that compares to that. We’ve heard from druid players for years who are upset that something so powerful is no longer accessible, and we agree. As a result, Guardian druids that complete The Highlord’s Return challenge in Legion Timewalking will also get a new fel variation of the “werebear” form. We created it with the intention of ensuring that the original bear forms acquired in Legion, with their pristine natural coloring, can be distinguished from this new one. Looking Forward To commemorate the return of the Mage Tower, Legion Timewalking will be available for two weeks straight when it first appears on the calendar. Following that, Legion Timewalking will take place for one week at a time, in rotation with earlier Timewalking events from previous expansions. Odyn, you can’t hide forever behind these walls!

These awards are based on the Mythic Raid / Elite PvP versions, which have more features and effects!

The legion timewalking mage tower is a new feature in Legion that allows players to access the Mage Tower at any time during the expansion.
