In the world of Warcraft, players can earn a legendary item when they complete a raid. But in order to get one, you must be able to defeat a boss and take their loot. It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it for that sweet loot.
We’re going to utilize a legend called Seasons of Plenty, which claims to boost Blessing of Summer’s efficacy by 100%. All of your abilities and procs will now have a 40% chance to inflict 30% more damage, up to an 80% chance to deliver 60% more damage.
It does boost both components by 100%, but when combined, it amounts to a 300 percent increase in Blessing of Summer DPS in less than 10 seconds.
This increases ret’s damage output even more than it currently is during burst.
Because the Summer proc has no internal cooldown, this boost feels quite similar to the ancient Reckoning days. If you’re fortunate, the following may happen in less than a second:
- Judgment
- Summer Blessing proc
- The Templar’s Decision
- Summer Blessing proc
- Wrath of the Sanctified
- Summer Blessing proc
- Command of Virtue
- Summer Blessing proc
- Verdict of the Templars proc (conduit)
- Summer Blessing proc
- Melee attack
- Summer Blessing proc
- Command of Virtue (from melee hit)
- Summer Blessing proc
- zealous (talent)
- Summer Blessing proc
This is a total of 16 damage sources… It’s just crazy! Perhaps a trinket or something similar can be included for even more severe consequences (or perhaps the Aura of Reckoning PvP talent, but it is overkill).
We’ll also utilize a gimmick with Judgment to make it seem as if it’s casting one global after you push it; the trick is to transform into a toad using Magic Pet Mirror (special thanks to Aegis for assisting me with this in Durotar, as I didn’t have the pet mirror). This occurs due to a glitch in the toad’s animation (there are most likely similar cases with other transforms).
Another thing we’ll do to make this combination even more lethal is switch out our legendaries. Even if you unequip the legendary before the Equinox procs, Seasons of Plenty will stay on your active blessing (the 100 percent bonus). This allows you to build up another legendary, the Vanguard’s Momentum, for a 12 percent holy damage boost in 10 seconds.
If you don’t equip it, the tale will live on. This unlocks the ability to transform into Final Verdict, which does 15% more damage than a regular Templar’s Verdict.
You won’t be able to switch gears to build up the Vanguard’s Momentum in an arena, but Seasons of Plenty will be fully functional. The films in the movie are actual battles in which my friends and I put this crazy tale to the test, with hilarious consequences!
If you want to do a lot of damage in a short amount of time, Final Reckoning is a good choice. I chose Sanctified Wrath because I wanted to do as much damage as possible with as few globals as possible.
