Upcoming Dungeon and Raid Hotfixes – Mythic Kel’thuzad, Theater of Pain Duel Mobs

Last updated September 27, 2021 | Follow us on Pinterest

This blog will discuss the upcoming changes to Mythic dungeons and raids, as well as some of the hotfixes that have been released.

The theater of pain mythic+ timer is a new feature that will be added in the upcoming dungeon and raid hotfixes. It allows users to see how long until they can enter a Mythic Dungeon or Raid again.

Here you’ll find a collection of hotfixes for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, Classic of the Burning Crusade, and WoW Classic that solve different problems. Some of the hotfixes listed below go into effect right away, while others may need scheduled realm restarts to take effect. Please bear in mind that certain problems will need a client-side patch update to be resolved. As new hotfixes are released, this list will be updated.

Hotfixes

Dungeons & Raids, September 27, 2021

Theatrical Pain

  • Fixed an issue where gladiators in the Halls of Might were occasionally immune to player skills after their fight was over.

Burning Crusade Classic

  • The global cooldown (GCD) of Spell Haste has been reduced to a minimum of 1.0 second (was 0.75 seconds).

Note from the developers: This patch is designed to bring the GCD’s behavior in line with Burning Crusade version 2.4.0, on which the gameplay circumstances of Burning Crusade Classic 2.5.2 are based. Players with high Spell Haste in the original Burning Crusade were occasionally able to cast some spells less than a second apart due to a glitch in the original 2.4.0 code, and they were also sometimes delayed by over a second, depending on how their actions lined up with the server’s tick rate. We’ve determined that replicating the purpose of the original game and enforcing that Spell Haste cannot decrease the GCD below 1.0 second is the most fair and accurate thing we can do.

The theater of pain banner location is a new raid coming to WoW. This raid will be the first to feature a 10 man Mythic version.
