Brewfest is a seasonal event in World of Warcraft that takes place over the course of three days. It’s an opportunity for players to collect rare ingredients and brew rare beers, which can be sold at the end of the festival.

Brewfest:
Brewfest, the world’s largest beer festival, made its long-awaited return on Monday, September 20th (yesterday). Participating in the many activities offered during this event provides us with several chances to earn a significant quantity of gold.
The Terrific Tankard O’ Terror, Tremendous Tankard O’ Terror, and the companion pets, Pint-Sized Pink Pachyderm, and the Stout Alemental, are all worth checking out. It’s also worth mentioning Wolpertinger, the companion pet. This pet is Bind on Pickup, which means you’ll have to learn and cage it before you can sell it on the Auction House.

Tankards:
Brewfest last visited town near the conclusion of the expansion, Battle for Azeroth. Because the Tankards you could acquire during the event were superior than the manufactured Uncanny weapons, they were a viable choice for freshly leveled characters at level 120. (before the level squish). These Tankards have scaled down to level 50 with an ilvl of 82 since the introduction of Shadowlands. Surprisingly, they still sell for 35-50k apiece on a regular basis — I just sold one four weeks ago!
The Tankards are ilvl 184 (equal to Mythic 0 loot) for players level 60 this time around. Unfortunately, these Tankards pale in comparison to the weaponry available via global quests, the mission table (depending on your renown level), and Korthian Armaments (depending on RNG).
Don’t give up hope, however. Some players are anxious to increase their ilvl as fast as possible, thus there may still be a market for level 60 Tankards; however, it’s too early to tell. If there is still a demand for these Tankards, this blog article serves as a reminder of the potential gold you might earn.
Companion Animals:
The Pint-Sized Pink Pachyderm (100 Tokens), Stout Alemental (200 Tokens), and the Wolpertinger are the three companion pets accessible to us (200 Tokens).
The goal is to get 500 tokens and either sell or learn the two companion dogs on your current world before selling them on your other realm. I’ve included some pricing to give you a sense of the average area market value in both the United States and the European Union.

Conclusion:
It’s a pity Blizzard didn’t raise the Tankards’ ilvl, maybe to 200, to match the existing Korthian Armaments. Due to the fact that these Tankards are comparable to Mythic 0 (ilvl 184), there may be a minimal demand for them. Brewfest, on the other hand, has only been accessible for one day, so we’ll need more time to assess the market completely.
To test the waters, I bought a pair of ilvl 184 Tankards weighing between 300 and 500g each. I can easily afford to lose this gold, therefore it’s a chance I’m willing to take. Remember, only put your money into gold that you’re prepared to lose!
Because loot scales to your level (i.e. ilvl 82 for level 50 players), lesser ilvl Tankards may be valuable to players who have bought a level increase beginning at level 50.
While companion/combat pets are a feasible alternative, keep in mind that the battle pet market is very specialized, and sales may take a long time.

I just wanted to explain why I’ve been so silent here; I’ve been spending a lot of time on my main character, attempting to gather as many resources as possible in anticipation for patch 9.1.5. With the option to transfer resources to our alts, I can finally play my alts and rapidly raise their renown once the patch is released.
I haven’t done many auctions myself, preferring to focus on selling Shadowlands Enchants, Leatherworking, and Cooking on my primary account. I still have a week until my Auction House characters’ mail expires, so I’ll have to empty and repost everything. So, in a week or two, I may add a weekly review.
